This painting features one of my favorite things: coffee. Pouring morning coffee can be an almost meditative daily ritual. I wanted to do a piece representing these precious, quiet moments of the morning; the rare, solitary seconds of relaxation before the day begins. No matter the tasks that lie ahead, these moments with your coffee are yours. A warmer, more colorful piece in the series, it was fun to create another scene that shows the entirety of the space the figure is in.
