"Luce" original charcoal drawing
 
I loved experimenting with light in this piece. The creative process of drawing the light (as opposed to the shadows) inspired the meaning behind this drawing.
 
As the main figure interacts with the light coming from beyond the paper's edge, this piece is about reaching through darkness, and finding new hope.
