Our relationship with nature is one I think we can be acutely aware of in the hustle of everyday life. By allowing ourselves to be enveloped by it, nature takes care of us in ways we don’t know or even completely understand. In this metaphorical painting, I aimed to depict how this feels when we fully connect with nature. In the dark leaves growing around us, we find safety and peace. We find what makes us whole and human, connected to the sources of life, if we simply relax and let it.
